You say Cannabutter I say Canna Butter

Cannabutter or canna butter? No matter the word or words you choose...as a canna cook lots of special butter you will most certainly use.

So it's a good idea to learn how to make your own.

Cannabis Decarboxylation

Decarbing the cannabis is an important first step in the making of cannabutter. Skip this and you more than likely are going to end up with a pretty boring batch. It's science, which has always given me a bit of a headache and so I'm not even going to try to explain why or how decarbing works only that it does.

The process somehow turns THCA into THC. It's the activated thc that delivers the high.

For this batch of canna butter I prepped a 1/2 ounce of Megalodon cannabis. I broke the nugs of cannabis down into smaller pieces by hand and then laid it out flat on a parchment paper lined tray.

I placed the tray in a preheated oven at 220 degrees F and bake for 60 minutes. Because I have a crappy oven, I have to turn the tray at the 30 minute mark. This affects the temperature of the oven as it has to heat back up to 220 after being opened. For best results if you can, don't open the oven before it's baked for the full 60 minutes.

Here's the plan so far...

The escape is being planned and the map is being plotted at this very moment. Don't get left behind! Subscribe to stay up to date on the happenings at Fun Ways to Heal.
