Let's escape Fibromyalgia Medication prison and head out into the wild blue yonder on a fun healing journey...

I don't know about you but for me every Fibromyalgia medication I was prescribed lead to another script and then another after that. Each new medicine was to counteract some side effect of another. Before I knew it, I was taking 11 different kinds for a total of 25 pills per day.

Sound familiar? If so, then please join me on a healing journey as we explore natural healing remedies and ways to bring fun back into our Fibro lives.

Let's make fibro life as comfortable as possible by becoming as healthy as we can be. And, most importantly let's make fun a part of our every day life again!

In other words, time to focus on quality over quantity. After all, when you have Fibromyalgia quantity falls within the realm of the unknown. From one hour to the next, we never know when Fibro is going to rear its ugly head or how badly it's going to hit.

So the way I figure it is, we should make the best of whatever "up time" we do have by doing fun things. I believe having fun is healing for us.

Quitting processed foods was a big step for me on the road to taking less Fibromyalgia medication.  Eliminating them may not be a cure for Fibro, but for me anyway, there's just no denying that a lot of processed foods trigger flares. Especially of restless legs, ugh.

Besides, processed foods and their nasty additives simply aren't good for us. Time to munch our way to healing with yummy fresh foods like veggies, spices and herbs.

Let's work at leaving sugar in the dust!

I’ve recently had the pleasure of discovering essential oils on a whole new level.

Sure, I’ve always enjoyed the aroma part of essential oils, especially ones that smell clean.

My favourites so far seem to be citrus scented oils.  But, now my eyes have opened up to the healing powers of essential oils.

Plus, bonus factor of their never ending list of practical uses. Essential oils really can help lessen the need for some Fibromyalgia medications, especially for mood and sleep.

Cannabis! What can I say about cannabis use for Fibro except, wow? It really does help relieve symptoms. There I said it!

Marijuana for Fibromyalgia rocks! Weed, MJ, 420 whatever you want to call it helps some of my Fibromyalgia symptoms, especially the chronic pain. It helps with sleep and anxiety. It can also be a lot of fun, you don’t have to take just CBD (but you can) and I’m not going to apologize for saying that.

Follow the map away from Fibromyalgia medication to our final destination of natural healing remedies...
