Canna Coconut Oil Chocolate Peanut Butter; A Review

And, this is how my canna coconut oil chocolate peanut butter came to be...

It was 12:39 PM I’d been dragging my concrete encased feet around since I pushed myself to get out of bed this morning. I kept starting tasks but wasn’t finishing anything. I tried working on my website, but I just kept muddling things up. Fidgeting with the layout & design was not a good choice for my fibro brain today.

My head was pounding, my neck was killing me and my hands! Oh my goodness my fibro hands. Not sure which was worse, the pain in my hands or how useless they were.

The only thing that was keeping me up was the beautiful sunshine. Sure looked and felt like spring today and I really wanted to enjoy it. But, fibro was kicking the crap out of me.

I figured I’d give one other small task a shot before giving in to the voice in my head begging me to crawl into bed.

I hadn’t tested my latest batch of cannabis coconut oil. I hadn’t eaten anything all day and I felt like crap. So…..

Let's get creative with Canna Coconut Oil

I had a banana and decided to throw something together and give it a shot.

I made a ½ Cup jar of Canna Coconut Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Which, by the way should have taken fifteen or twenty minutes but took me the better part of an hour and a half.  I hate fibromyalgia!

Making Canna Coconut Oil Chocolate Peanut Butter

2:05 PM

Once I finished mixing the cannabis spread together I took a tsp, straight up. It was a tad “oily”, too rich for right off the spoon. The coconut flavour was very strong. Which, was fine for me, but wouldn’t be great for someone who doesn’t love coconut.

In the future I probably won’t use a peanut butter that already contains coconut oil. Unless, of course the batch is for a real coconut fan.

In the meantime, here’s a recap of my first experience with my new batch of Cannabis 24 hour infused coconut oil.

About 15 minutes in I had some slight heartburn. Not enough to slow me down, but enough that I noticed. Next time I will use it as a spread on toast.  Eating something with it may eliminate the indigestion and I’m thinking it will be more enjoyable to eat.

Quick side note: I’m sitting down at 6:30 typing this up. So, I still have energy and clarity. I feel that I’m mildly affected by the THC but, not really stoned. That being said, a mellow slightly stoned feeling has rolled in and out in waves since about 40 minutes in.

Within 30 minutes I started to feel energized. I went downstairs to do something quick and ended up completing a bunch of small to dos and even had a snuggly guinea pig cuddle. The heart burn was totally gone and I was experiencing major pain relief. I was in a good mood, calm, clear headed and was able to stay on task.

Most importantly, I NO LONGER wanted to crawl back into bed, my hands were functioning better and they were pain free.

Being able to get things done around the house today was a welcome gift. One I hadn’t expected with this morning’s fibro fog being as thick as pea soup. Staying focused at the best of times is a ten on the fibro difficulty scale, which I’m sure fellow fibro warriors will attest to.

It’s now 7:45, my energy is waning, body parts are starting to throb a little.  I’m feeling drawn to the sofa, looks like couch lock is about to set in.

Five hours of feeling alive from 1 little tsp of the spread which contains only a ½ tsp of the canna coconut oil…that’s a big four thumbs up! Once I get the taste right, it’ll get a five.

Here's the plan so far...

I'm escaping Fibromyalgia pharmaceutical hell and setting out on a journey of finding fun ways to heal.
